Michele Salmon
Director, Corporate Marketing
Michele Salmon heads up LENSER’s corporate marketing and coordinates the LENSER affiliate program. In addition, she consults with various clients and is responsible for special projects. Michele joined the LENSER team in April 2003 after more than twenty years on the mailer side of the catalog and direct marketing industry.
Michele has held key marketing positions in such companies as Celebration Fantastic, Alden Lee Company, Red Rose Collection, Fortune’s Almanac, The Chinese Grocer and Gump’s. Working with so many eclectic and entrepreneurial companies, she brings an unusually diverse experience and skill set to the table encompassing not only marketing and circulation, but operations, inventory, merchandise analytics, computer systems, print advertising, catalog print buying, postal regulations, and even running a call center.
A member since 1987 and past president, Michele currently serves on the Board of the Catalog & E-Commerce Club, Northern California. She has spoken at the Annual Catalog Conference, the annual DMA Conference and other industry events and has published articles.
A native Californian, Michele graduated with honors from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Biology, with emphasis in Botany and Ecology, hence her special affinity for the Mailorder Gardening Association and LENSER’s gardening clients.
